DESCRIPTION:Indrajit Banerjee\nScintillating Sitar\n \nIndrajit Banerjee who has won many awards\, is one of the leading exponents of Maihar Gharana. Born into a musical family\, he was inspired by his mother\, who was a disciple of the late Pt. Nikhil Banerjee. He then learnt from his uncle Pt. Kartick Kumar\, who was a senior disciple of Pt. Ravi Shankar. Indrajit has a special touch on sitar that combines technical virtuosity with sensitivity. He has toured extensively abroad and has also composed music for several albums and award winning documentary films. \nHe will be accompanied by Hindole Majumdar on tabla. \nADMISSION: \nFREE Nuit Blanche Event \nRaag-Mala Benefactors & Patrons\nSeats for Benefactors & Patrons will be guaranteed until 15 minutes before the show\, after which they will be released to the general public.
