DESCRIPTION:Raag-Mala Toronto\, in partnership with Shadaj\, is proud to present\nAnand Bhate\nwith Bharat Kamat\, Tabla and Suyog Kundalkar\, Harmonium\nSaturday January 29th\, 2022 at 9 am ET\nLIVE Online on the “Shadaj Baithak” YouTube channel\nAnand Bhate\, a rising star on the horizon of Indian Classical Music\, is recognized as one of the top vocalists of the younger generation of the great Kirana tradition. Anand has been a disciple of the great classical vocalist\, Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi\, doyen of the Kirana gharana. Anand has performed all over India and abroad in many prestigious music conferences like Sawai Gandharva Sangeet Mahotsav\, Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki Sangeet Samaroha etc. Recipient of numerous awards\, Anand has many published albums to his credit. He shows a remarkable versatility in being able to present a wide variety of music\, right from the classical Khayal gayaki to the semi-classical exponents like Thumri\, Natyageet and Bhajans/Abhangs. \nFree for Benefactors and Patrons\n$15 for Member Household\, $20 for Non-Member Household\nAccess Information will be provided upon receipt of payment.\nPayments can be made via PayPal or E-Transfer to\nraagmalatorontopayments@gmail.com\n\n\n\nTickets\n\n\nRaag-Mala Non-Member $20.00 CADRaag-Mala Member $15.00 CAD\n\n\n\n\n\n \nScheduled concert is subject to safety restrictions mandated by the government of India and in case of unforeseen circumstances arising due\nto the COVID-19 pandemic\, the concert will be rescheduled.
